Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari awarded the 2nd Punyashloka Ahilyadevi Holkar National Awards to 30 distinguished individuals from various fields at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. Among the recipients were Bhiwandi Mayor Pratibha Patil, comedian Bhau Kadam, Kirtankar Sudam Gorkhe Kanha Guruji, social workers Dr. Ayushi Deshmukh and Anikta Thakre, IRS officer Smita Dolas Somane, and compere Dr. Samira Gujar.

The awards recognized people who have made remarkable contributions in social service, human welfare, and women empowerment. The ceremony celebrated those whose exceptional efforts have had a positive impact on society.
